my journey in beauty

I'm Rachel and I've been working in the beauty industry for around 7 years now. Until I started the amazing world that is beauty, I worked in various different jobs, but it was never 'me'. It wasn't until I started college, studying beauty that I found this huge passion and secret talent, and then Butterfly Beauty & Beyond was born! Never in a million years did I think it would be a career change... But here I am, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

 

I absolutely love my job, making my clients feel good about themselves. I want you to leave my clinic feeling amazing, and the best version of you! I absolutely pride myself on making my clients feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease, whilst in my company.

I'm an avid mental health advocate which for me works perfectly along side my career in beauty. I think it's important for my clients to understand, I'm just a normal person too! I'm also a mum, to two kids, Millie & Jenson. My clients become my friends, and in a way I become your counsellor, to vent and rant to, but as your beauty therapist I'm here to listen and help you escape!

 

My specialist area is skincare. I've studied long and hard on this topic, for which I have so much passion. I love to do facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, chemical peels and almost anything to do with the skin. The skin fascinates me and I'm very much a believer that if we look after our skin, it will look after us.

Over the last 7 years I've gown my local business to what it is today, with a huge base of loyal customers, local to the Morecambe, Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale area. Based in Arkholme, just outside of Carnforth a 15 minute drive from Morecambe and 10 minute drive from Kirkby Lonsdale,

I look forward to welcoming all clients, current and new, to my at-home beauty salon.
